AI’s Role in Skill Development
As AI continues to revolutionize various industries, CEPS is embracing its potential to enhance career readiness. The newly launched Digital Content Creation and Generative AI course this fall, taught by Renee Robinson and Jessica Rauchberg, reflects this commitment. The course empowers professionals in crafting engaging, high-quality content, utilizing AI-driven tools such as AI-powered video editing and automated content optimization.

Comprehensive AI Curriculum
Beyond digital content creation, CEPS is integrating AI applications across various fields, preparing professionals to leverage intelligent automation. Courses like Leadership Strategies in the Disruptive AI Era, developed by Jack Shannon and Andrew Simon, help leaders build the tools necessary for success in AI-driven environments.
Additionally, the recent course AI, Generative AI and ChatGPT Deconstructed, taught by Gale Spak, provides insight into ChatGPT prompt engineering, fostering an understanding of the technology’s functionality and useful applications.

Mary Kate Naatus, dean, emphasized the importance of comprehending AI’s implications for professional growth, stating, ‘AI is reshaping every industry, and professionals must not only keep pace but lead these changes. Our programs are designed to help learners develop the skills and strategic thinking necessary for success in an AI-enhanced world.’
Seton Hall’s commitment to AI education is further illustrated through its Artificial Intelligence Resource Center, providing resources and collaborative opportunities for students and professionals. Industry Partnerships & Future Directions
In partnership with CIU, CEPS established a Continuing Education Cybersecurity Committee, co-hosting events like the keynote address ‘AI and Generative AI: Reshaping Organizations,’ highlighting AI’s transformative effects on cybersecurity strategies. Halpin noted, ‘We are preparing learners to be agile, innovative and equipped to lead in an evolving workforce.’
The university’s law school is also adapting to new challenges by offering courses on AI Governance and Data Privacy. Additionally, the Cognitech AI Club has gained recognition as a hub for student innovation in AI, driven by interdisciplinary collaboration.
