The world is evolving rapidly with advancements in AI, VR, AR, and numerous other technologies. FilmGate Miami is embracing this transformation with its Interactive Media Festival, timed perfectly to coincide with Art Week.

Art can take many forms, and at FilmGate’s Interactive Media Fest, the fusion of creative technology represents the future of artistic expression.

Renowned artist King Willonius remarked, ‘FilmGate does an amazing job curating really dope artists who work in AR, VR, and other emerging technologies, and they showcase their work. This festival stands out because many film festivals focus solely on traditional media.’

Willonius has created a viral sensation with his AI-generated song ‘BBL Drizzy,’ inspired by the ongoing feud between music stars Drake and Kendrick Lamar. He quipped, ‘It went super viral, ending up being the first AI publishing music deal in history.’

His project takes a leap forward as he prepares to present ‘BBL Drizzy the Musical’ at the festival’s opening. ‘Wicked is good, but BBL Drizzy the Musical is going to blow fans of hip-hop culture away,’ he added. ‘I creatively combined what’s trending in sci-fi storytelling with hip-hop.’

The festival spans four days and is lighting up the Miami skyline with innovative artworks. Diliana Alexander, the Executive Director of FilmGate Miami, explained, ‘We’re in a really cool building called the Paramount, which features an extensive LED display. On Thursday night, we’ll launch an AI project focusing on mash-up art created by artists using AI technologies.’

TJ Sabo, the Creative Director of Paramount, added, ‘The artists have utilized AI to generate captivating videos that will be showcased on the building. I won’t spoil the surprise, but it’s going to be epic.’
