European Enterprises Embrace AI and Automation Technologies

According to a study by Digitate, a leading provider of AI software for IT and business operations, a staggering 92% of European enterprises have implemented AI and automation technologies in the last two years. The report, titled ‘The Race to Outpace: How AI and Automation are Driving European Enterprises Across the Finish Line,’ highlights the rapid adoption of these technologies along with the potential challenges facing organizations seeking to leverage them effectively.

The survey, which gathered insights from 900 IT decision-makers across seven European countries, revealed that on average, organizations have invested €103.4 million in AI and automation. Notably, over half of the respondents (59%) reported spending up to €295 million on these technologies. As a result, 86% of the organizations experienced a return on investment average of €154.7 million.

Ritu Dubey, Head of New Business Sales and Market Development at Digitate, noted, ‘European enterprises clearly recognize the transformative potential of AI and automation, particularly in addressing their most pressing operational challenges. However, the research indicates that many organizations are implementing these technologies on a departmental basis rather than as part of an integrated vision.’
