AI in Home Improvement Retail
In contrast to humanitarian applications, AI is also transforming the retail landscape. Home Depot recently introduced “Magic Apron,” a suite of generative AI tools designed to assist customers with do-it-yourself home improvement projects. This innovative service aims to provide expertise comparable to interactions with in-store associates, answering product and project-related inquiries.
Similarly, Lowe’s has developed Mylow, an AI-powered virtual assistant that provides step-by-step guidance and suggestions, empowering customers to tackle their home projects effectively.
