Choice Hotels Launches 10th Annual Tech Summit MasteryX to Drive Innovation in Hospitality Technology

This event brings together over 650 associates to explore the latest technologies geared towards improving hotel operations and enhancing the guest experience.
During the week-long summit, participants will engage in interactive workshops and competitions focused on applying technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity to drive revenue and efficiency for hotel owners.

This year’s MasteryX features interactive challenges such as ‘Capture the Flag’ and AWS DeepRacer, designed to test participants’ AI and problem-solving skills. Engineers will also present new software products during the Hack-a-Thon competitions, which aim to enhance hotel operations and drive guest satisfaction.
A notable success from a previous Mastery project streamlined the process of creating special rates for repeat guests, reducing processing time from weeks to instant results. This initiative has led to nearly 450,000 room nights booked, generating over $31 million in revenue.
