IEEE Standards Association (IEEE SA) leads with innovative frameworks such as the IEEE 7000™ series, which addresses ethical and societal AI considerations including transparency, privacy, and accountability. The Ethically Aligned Design Framework informs global AI ethics discussions, influencing OECD principles and UN digital policies.

Another highlight is IEEE CertifAIEd™, a credentialing program assessing AI systems for ethical compliance, designed to meet regulatory needs worldwide including the EU AI Act and other jurisdictional requirements.
