Samsung Unveils New AI Home Technology at CES 2025

Samsung Expands AI Home Technology to New Appliances at CES 2025

At CES 2025, Samsung showcased groundbreaking innovations in home appliances, notably a refrigerator featuring a new 9-inch AI home screen and a Bespoke AI Washer and Dryer set equipped with a 7-inch display. Jeong Seung Moon, EVP and Head of the R&D Team for Digital Appliances Business at Samsung, stated: ‘Along with efforts towards enhancing usability, we are expanding consumer options by developing screens of different sizes and products that effectively incorporate them.’

Smart Appliances Revolutionizing Home Living

Samsung’s new smart appliances are designed not only to enhance functionality but also to cater to a diverse range of consumer preferences. The introduction of smaller screens grants more options for those hesitant to adopt larger technology in their kitchens.

The appliances come loaded with features such as cameras for viewing contents, on-screen recipe guidance, and connectivity with popular streaming services. Features like voice control via Bixby and advanced monitoring capabilities further cement their position as essential additions to modern homes.

Furthermore, Samsung’s devices are compatible with SmartThings, enhancing usability across various home technologies. While there is currently no acknowledgment of Matter compatibility, it is anticipated to follow given the trend in rolling out similar integrations.
