Samsung is set to unveil a collection of pioneering projects from its C-Lab at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, which begins next month in Las Vegas. The event will spotlight a total of 15 startups focusing on advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), digital health, and robotics.

According to a news release from Samsung, this showcase represents a crucial opportunity for these Korean startups to make their mark on the global stage and enhance their brand visibility.

“CES is an important opportunity for Korean startups to gain a foothold in the global market and increase brand awareness,” remarked Pilgyu Jeon, executive vice president and head of the Creativity & Innovation Center at Samsung Electronics. “C-Lab will continue to support startups on the journey to becoming internationally recognized global innovators.”

Out of the 15 startups exhibiting, 12 are part of the C-Lab Outside program, which is dedicated to nurturing external startups, while two stem from C-Lab Inside, an initiative for internal ventures. Additionally, one startup has officially spun off from Samsung.

The release highlights that CES will serve as a platform for C-Lab startups to evaluate global market reactions, enhance their business models, and connect with potential investors.

Samsung is among over 4,000 companies anticipated to present at CES, expected to draw around 140,000 technology enthusiasts. PYMNTS noted that CES, recognized as the largest tech showcase worldwide, will focus prominently on the connected economy, featuring innovations in connected homes, digital health, and mobility.

Gary Shapiro, CEO of the Consumer Technology Association, emphasized that AI will headline this year’s event, stating, “AI is affecting so many things from healthcare to drug delivery, and we’re seeing the actual uses of it.” He further commented on digital health, noting, “Digital health is going to be hot because that’s where you see a lot of the advantages of AI.”
