Modular Solutions with Elice Group
SK Telecom and Elice Group have collaborated to explore modular data center designs. Elice, established in 2015 and known for its AI education platform, will leverage its AI Portable Modular Data Center technology for this initiative. Jae-Won Kim, CEO of Elice, stated, ‘We will lead the next-generation AI infrastructure market through the collaboration of differentiated Elice AI PMDC technology and SKT’s AI DC solution.’ This partnership will facilitate the rapid creation and scaling of AI data center infrastructure.
Innovative Cooling Solutions with Giga Computing
SK Telecom also formed a Memorandum of Understanding with Giga Computing and SK Enmove to research next-generation liquid cooling solutions. This collaboration targets the development of technologies that enhance cooling performance in AI Data Centers (AIDCs). Yang Seung-hyun from SK Telecom noted, ‘Our partnership will accelerate the development of liquid cooling solutions, a key next-generation technology for AIDCs.’

Moreover, SK Telecom has joined forces with Schneider Electric to align on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for AIDCs. The strategic engagement aims to build hyperscale AI data centers in South Korea and beyond, enhancing operational efficiency. Quantum Innovations with IonQ
