Altimetrik and SLK Software Join Forces to Accelerate Digital and AI Innovation

In a significant move within the technology sector, Altimetrik, a company specializing in AI, Data, and Digital engineering solutions, announced its plans to acquire SLK Software, a prominent global technology services provider. This acquisition aims to strengthen Altimetrik’s end-to-end service offerings and expand its global customer base.

Founded in 2000, SLK Software has established itself as a leader in creating innovative digital solutions, with a focus on AI, automation, and analytics. The strategic merger will combine Altimetrik’s platform-native engineering model with SLK’s comprehensive technology services, enabling both companies to accelerate digital transformation efforts for their clients.

Raj Sundaresan, CEO of Altimetrik, emphasized the importance of AI as a key driver of business value, stating ‘AI, especially Generative AI and Machine Learning, is now the engine powering real business impact.’ He added that the acquisition reflects a commitment to providing digital, AI-driven solutions that deliver value at scale.

Parth Amin, Founder and Chairman of SLK Software, highlighted the strategic nature of the merger, saying ‘This is not just integration—it’s an acceleration.’ He noted that the partnership would help unlock greater capabilities for clients while maintaining agility and responsiveness.

Upon closing, the combined entity will serve over 150 global clients, including Fortune 500 companies, and collaborate with pioneering technology firms such as OpenAI, AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks. The organization will employ more than 10,000 professionals worldwide, supporting diverse industries including finance, pharma, technology, and manufacturing.

Puneet Bhatia of TPG Capital Asia described the alliance as a significant leap for the industry, stating ‘This combination creates a powerful AI-first digital engineering platform with the scale and leadership to deliver meaningful outcomes across industries.’

Martin and Kearny Jackson, along with other investors, have supported Genesis Computing Inc., a new venture founded by ex-Snowflake executives, leveraging agentic AI technology to simplify data pipelines. CEO Matt Glickman explained that their AI agents respond to the high burnout and complexity faced by data engineers, aiming to automate and streamline data management tasks.

This innovative approach leverages Snowflake’s Cortex AI suite, which enables enterprise-level AI integration, and has attracted interest from major corporations like Apple and Walmart. Genesis’ strategy is to embed its applications natively within Snowflake’s environment, offering clients faster deployment and enhanced data governance.

As telematics and AI continue to evolve, fleet management is entering a new era where predictive maintenance, driver safety monitoring, and operational optimization are transforming the industry. Future innovations will include autonomous vehicle support, AR dashcams, and advanced driver assistance systems, promising a safer and more efficient future for fleet operations.

Overall, these developments highlight how technological integration and strategic partnerships are shaping the future of digital and AI solutions, providing companies with tools to innovate and stay competitive in a rapidly changing market.
